Introductory & Advanced Dry Needling Course Bundle
The combined Introductory and Advanced Dry Needling Course is a comprehensive program designed to equip health professionals with the fundamental skills and advanced techniques necessary to safely and effectively incorporate dry needling into their clinical practice.
The combined Introductory and Advanced Dry Needling Course is held on the same weekend. The practical hands-on demonstration will run from Friday 6.30-9.30pm (Introductory), Saturday 8.30am-6pm (Introductory) and on Sunday 8.30am-6pm (Advanced).
Overview
In this combined Introductory and Advanced Dry Needling Course, participants will delve into the theoretical foundations of dry needling, combined with a physiological understanding of musculoskeletal dysfunction.
Precise Points Dry Needling Courses are infused with a strong background in osseous, muscular and neuroanatomy. Through a comprehensive analysis of the anatomy and physiology that underpins Dry Needling and all forms of manual therapy, you will be able to diagnose and treat musculoskeletal pain, structural dysfunction, acute and chronic conditions. In addition, more obscure clinical presentations will also be explored.
Through a combination of theoretical instruction and practical hands-on training, and interactive discussions, participants will learn how to accurately assess patients, identify trigger points, and develop personalised treatment plans tailored to individual needs.
The foundation of all techniques taught in the Precise Points Dry Needling Course is a fundamental understanding of what is being treated, why it is being treated, how the techniques used can benefit the condition. Therefore, you will leave the course understanding how best to administer your chosen techniques.
The Introductory Dry Needing Course focuses on building a strong foundation in dry needling techniques, emphasising safety protocols, needle insertion techniques, and basic needle manipulation skills. Participants will learn how to effectively address common musculoskeletal conditions such as neck pain, low back pain, shoulder impingement, and sciatica.
The Advanced Dry Needling Course builds upon the knowledge and skills acquired in Introductory, delving deeper into advanced dry needling techniques and their applications in complex clinical scenarios. Participants will explore advanced needling approaches, including intramuscular, periosteal, and ligamentous techniques, as well as strategies for integrating dry needling into comprehensive rehabilitation programs.
Who is the course for
Precise Points Dry Needling Courses have been developed for the practicing manual therapist.
Participants usually include physiotherapists, osteopaths, chiropractors, remedial massage therapists, medical doctors, and other licensed healthcare providers who have the scope of practice to perform dry needling in a clinical setting.
Precise Points Dry Needling courses have been developed to allow practitioners to apply a variety of styles and needling techniques. Foremost, these techniques are governed by approaching the treatment of each individual client as an individual. Therefore, this Dry Needling Course will allow the participant to confidently diagnose and treat the client with an arsenal of techniques that will not be limited to only one style.
How the course is delivered
The Combined Introductory and Advanced Dry Needling Course is a combination of theoretical instruction and practical hands-on training delivered in three components.
- Online Learning Modules – study & learn at your own pace with immediate access on course registration.
- Online Video Demonstrations – over 120 videos
- Practical Hands-on Training – The 2.5 days workshop is delivered on Friday evenings, Saturdays & Sundays in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane & Townsville. (Check available dates on the right)
Pre-course materials and theoretical components are provided online, allowing participants to learn the necessary background information at their own pace before attending practical sessions. You’ll have access to over 120 videos specifically related to osseous, soft tissue and practical demonstrations.
Following on from the online theory modules, participants will have access to over 70 videos of material related to Dry Needling techniques specifically related to osseous, soft tissue and practical demonstrations.
The 2.5 Days practical component is entirely hands-on, building on the material covered in the online content and applying it to the practical aspects of Dry Needling. Through a combination of visual, palpatory, and practical exercises, regional areas of the body will be explored using different Dry Needling techniques. This includes instruction on proper needle insertion depth, angle, and manipulation techniques to elicit desired responses.
Under the guidance of an experienced dry needling doctor, you’ll learn various needling techniques, understanding anatomy in relation to dry needling while practicing on fellow participants.
To ensure competence, participants undergo online practical assessments where they are required to demonstrate their understanding of each course module.
Upon course registration, participants receive 12 months access to the online dry needing course support materials to supplement their learning.
Including:
- Dry Needling fundamentals and theory videos that cover all aspects of the theory behind Dry Needling as well as the legislative practical application of Dry Needling in the clinical environment.
- Over 120 practical video demonstrations that cover all osseous, soft tissue and practical demonstrations that are taught in the practical component of the course.
- Trigger Point charts
